Story of the shirt:
This Roma away shirt was worn during the 01/02 season, the club's second season wearing the legendary and pioneering Kappa Kombat template. The shirt features the Scudetto shield due to the club's triumph in Serie A the season before and the side were a much feared one for good reason – just look at the lineup! The choice of Batistuta, Totti, Cassano, Delvecchio or Montella upfront (!!!) a super sold midlfield pairing of Tommasi and Emerson plus full backs Cafu and Candela meant they should've been unbeatable, however they failed to defend their Serie A title – missing out but just 1 point to rivals Juventus on the last day of the season. Allora.
