Story of the shirt:
After winning the UEFA Cup Winners Cup the season before, Zaragoza started 95/96 with the signing of 19 year old striker Fernando Morientes from Albacete. Despite the future superstar going on to score 13 goals, plus a talented midfield of Gus Poyet and Nayim (yep, him of the wondergoal against Arsenal), the team were unable to replicate the feats of the previous year, recording a solid if unimpressive mid-table finish.
