And that is exactly how the conversation went down between Posh Spice and Goldenballs in the summer of 2003, when the lad from Leytonstone finally left Manchester – the scar under his eye from Fergie’s famous boot-attack still painfully fresh – to become a Galáctico. A few months prior though he was still a Red Devil, wearing this early 00s banger as United predictably won the Premier League (again, remember those days?) under Ferguson’s continued expert guidance/intimidation.
