Story of the shirt:

This incredible reversible design was released by United to coincide with their centenary year, and allows the owner to choose to wear either the away or third strip from the 01/02 season. On the pitch, it was a very disappointing year for the Red Devils, who finished third in the league and failed to win any silverwear at all, despite a squad full of superstars, including £28.1m record-signing Juan Sebastian Veron. Whatever – it's two shirts for the price of one – and one of them is gold. So who cares about what happened on the field?? Just buy the shirt.
