Story of the shirt:
This 90s Liverpool classic was the first of Reebok's designs for the club, a deal that lasted 10 years. On the pitch it was another year of disappointment in the then-new Premier League for The Reds, with the club finishing 4th after topping the table for much of the first half of the year. In the end they finished trophyless, but one positive came in the form of the debut of a young striker and future club superstar named Michael Owen...
