Story of the shirt:
This Juve home shirt was the final design made for the club by legendary Italian brand Kappa, marking the end of an extraordinary 21 year relationship. Yes, incredibly the first Kappa Juve shirt was made in 1979! On the field things were a little more disappointing, with the club unable to muster more than a 7th place finish despite being reigning Serie A champions and having one of the most impressive squads in world football. They did make the semi-final of the Champions league, though, losing to eventual winners Manchester United across two closely fought legs.
