Story of the shirt:
This Juve home shirt was worn by the club during the 97/98 season, their centenary year, and features the Scudetto badge to mark the side's league win the previous year. With Zidane, Del Piero et al, 97/98 was another very successful season for La Vecchia Signora, who went on to win Serie A again and reach the final of the Champions League for a second year running, only to lose by a solitary goal from Predrag Mijatović against Real Madrid in the final.
