History of the shirt:
After the signing of a young Frenchman named Zinedine Zidane from Bordeaux during the summer, Juventus started the 96/97 season with a 'dream team' of supercracks, and as expected, won the league wearing this classic Kappa design. He had a good season in the Champions League as well, losing only in the final against a Borussia Dortmund inspired by Karl-Heinz Riedle. The Old Lady He wore two different versions of his home shirt during the campaign – this specific design is the 'Serie A' version, and the Champions League version was similar but with the word 'Minidisc' under the Sony logo. The number 10 on this shirt was that of their best scorer this year, Alessandro Del Piero.
