Story of the jacket:
This sensational Kappa jacket was worn by Juve across two seasons, arguably at the height of the Italian brand's design-powers. It's got it all, the classic oversized 'Omini' logo running down each arm, beautifully stitched club crests and Kappa logos on the front and back, and the overall build quality you'd expect from 90s-era Kappa. On the pitch, Juve clinched the Champions League in 95/96 with a thrilling penalty win over Ajax in Rome, but went on to sell two of their star strikers immediately afterwards as both Gianluca Vialli and Fabrizio Ravanelli left for the Premier League. In their place, they opted to sign a young Frenchman named Zinedine Zidane from Bordeaux during the summer, and despite being unable to replicate the success in the Champions League (losing narrowly in the final to Dortmund), in 96/97 they were able to regain their Serie A title. All in all, a decent couple of seasons then! And a jacket you'd be proud to warm the bench in.
