Story of the shirt:

This beautiful long-sleeved Italy shirt was worn by the side during 1999, a year which saw the side play mainly in friendlies and qualifiers for the impending Euro 2000. Italy won their group in a campaign which included a 4-0 home win over Wales wearing this very shirt (although strangely the short sleeved version of this design features a V-neck rather than the high round neck, presumably to keep the warm in on those cold nights in Wales...)
