Story of the shirt:
Remember that time you went to Mexico and it was cold enough to play footy in long sleeves? Thought so.
This immense Mexican work of art was worn by Club América (of Mexico City) in 97/98, when they became the first Mexican club (alongside Guadalajara) to reach the Copa Libertadores finales. In the end they lost to River Plate in the knockout phase, but who remembers that when you've put it on because it's the beginning of winter, and it would be rude to complain about the cold when you're meeting your new partner's parents for the first time in that fairly-priced restaurant you recommended just off the high-street? No one.
