Story of the shirt:

Cienciano play their football in the Peruvian city of Cusco. Formed in 1901, the side came to international attention in 2003 when they went on an unlikely run to the Copa Sudamericana final, eventually defeating heavyweights River Plate across two legs to lift the trophy. In the 05/06 season they finished 3rd in the Primera División del Perú aka Liga 1, their joint best ever finish.
