Story of the jacket:

The Catalan national team is an anomaly amongst international sides. A team that has only played 147 matches in its history, that doesn't even always play every year, yet has often had a squad that would be capable of beating many other 'official' national teams. However it should be noted that, due to the fact they are not recognised by FIFA or UEFA, the side has been able to feature 'guest' appearances from non-Catalans over the years – including Andres Iniesta, Johan Cruyff and even Alfredo de Stefano! This excellent Puma design was worn in and around 2002, and was probably the warm-up jacket used by the players at the 3-1 loss to a strong Brazil side featuring Ronaldo, Cafu, Juninho and Ronaldinho. The latter scored a brace in the game at Camp Nou in front of an incredible 96,700 fans, emphatically introducing himself to the Catalan faithful just months before he joined Barça at the beginning of the 03/04 season.
