Story of the shirt:
Unbelievable Barça third shirt featuring the original nameset of future superstar Xavi Hernandez. Xavi debuted in the 98/99 season after impressing in Barça B, playing 26 times and scoring 2 goals. During his first two seasons for Los Azulgrana he wore number 26, before moving to 16 and finally his preferred number 6. The 98/99 season was a successful one for the club, who won the league under the stewardship of Louis Van Gaal – and Xavi picked up his first of eight La Liga winners medals.
