Story of the shirt:

In Kappa's final season as official kit supplier to FCB, a glorious 7 year association ended with this particularly garish orange away shirt design. After Ronaldo was inexplicably sold to Inter Milan during the summer,Los Blaugranastarted the 97/98 season with new manager Louis van Gaal installed, and newly signed Rivaldo as the star player in a team filled with stars. In the end Ronaldo wasn't missed as Barcelona claimed their 15th La Liga title, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Supercup. Long live the glory days of FCB x Kappa.
