Story of the shirt:

This sensational late 90s Barcelona training shirt – unbelievably difficult to find in this condition – was a favourite of young coach/translator Jose Mourinho in the 97/98 season, Kappa's final year as official kit supplier to FCB, ending a glorious 7 year association. After Ronaldo was inexplicably sold to Inter Milan during the summer, Los Blaugrana started the 97/98 season with new manager Louis van Gaal installed, and newly signed Rivaldo as the star player in a team filled with stars. In the end Ronaldo wasn't missed as Barcelona claimed their 15th La Liga title, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Supercup. Long live the glory days of FCB x Kappa.
