Story of the shirt:
So here we have it, the legendary personalised 'keeper shirt made by Kappa especially for Barça's No.1 at the time, Vítor Baía. And it's an all-time-classic for a reason, starting with the unbelievable, oversized yet somehow-still-subtle sleeve design, with one of the player's two names running down each arm. Later there's the trippy frontal section, with an incredible faded combo of black, red and white patterns giving it that classic 90s keeper wavy look. Finally, on the back we have the obligatory number 1 in official Kappa print and printed directly within the material. A real beauty this one. On the pitch, Barça were managed by Bobby Robson, the club's 9th English manager (and so far still its last), and claimed both the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup with El Fenómeno Ronaldo scoring 47 goals in the process. They were pipped to the league title by Real Madrid, however, with just 2 points separating the teams.
