Story of the shirt:
This shirt was worn by Barça in the 12/13 season, the first 'post-Pep' campaign after he declined to renew his contract at the end of 11/12. The start of a new era for the club is perhaps reflected in the daring design, dispensing altogether with the famous stripes and opting instead for a distinctive fade. Meanwhile, Messi was busy doing Messi things, scoring 60 goals in all competitions and winning his fourth Ballon d'Or award, surpussing the likes of Cruyff, Platini and van Basten in the process. Legend.
