Story of the shirt:
Worn in the 10/11 season at the height of Barcelona's Pep Guardiola-inspired dominance, this Barça home shirt is a modern classic. The big arrival at the club at the beginning of the season was David Villa, a €40m summer signing from Valencia. It was another magnificent year for Los Azulgrana as they won La Liga, the Spanish Supercopa and the Champions League beating Man Utd 3-1 in the final at Wembley. Perhaps the most memorable single match featuring this shirt design, though, was the 5-0 demolition of arch rivals Real Madrid in La Liga, a game in which Villa scored twice.
