It's probably best remembered for being the shirt worn when Martín Palermo took – and missed – three penalties in one match against Colombia, who also missed and scored one of their own. After a total of five penalties during the match, Colombia came out on top 3-0 despite having only scored one of their two. Argentina did then go on to manage a final group stage win against Uruguay, putting themselves through to a juicy quarter final against Brazil. In the end, however, a goal each from Rivaldo and (inevitably) Ronaldo saw them crash out 2-1 at the hands of the tournament's eventual champions.
